Meetings held at
Grimstock Country House Hotel |
7.30 for a prompt 8pm start Monday 6th of February “Open Discussion”
Sunday 5th March 2017
Guild national Conference and Exhibition to be held on Sunday 5th of March at the Holiday Inn Maidenhead, just minutes from the M4 junction 8/9. For satellite navigation SL6 2RA. Trains from London Paddington Station run several times per hour to the Maidenhead station which is only half a mile away from the Hotel.
There is a lot of value in networking with others with a similar interest at a Guild conference and exhibition, or at a centre meeting
It is a chance to learn of new things, develop fresh ideas, make new acquaintances and meet up with old friends. Make a note in your diary for this event for there is always a warm Scottish welcome at the Guild annual gathering at the Westerwood, and the National in Maidenhead will not let you down either. Starting at 9.00 am with the exhibition opening and a welcoming cup of tea/coffee, followed by the start of the conference at 10.00am. Breaks for beverages and more visits to the exhibition stands, are catered for, plus an included lunch. Where else can you get all this and dedicated to you the “Professional Cleaner”?
These Guild combined Conferences and Exhibitions are great opportunities for the professional cleaner and the best of the industry suppliers to meet, to learn of new products, to discuss recent developments, and network in more relaxed circumstances. The exhibition hall adjacent to the conference room is always full with delegates discussing plans with suppliers between sessions in the conference room where the top industry speakers bring all up to date with matters of topical interest. With eight presentations around the theme of growth and marketing in the retail sector it is going to be a busy day and one that should not be missed. Please make every effort to attend all
All of our members and friends are welcome at all of our meetings.
After considerable deliberation at the committee meeting, following last year’s AGM, we believe we have been able to produce an attractive yet balanced season of meetings that could also improve the profitability of your business please note our next meeting.
Next seasons agenda. Venue Grimstock Manor Hotel
The intention is to identify areas where Centre members feel that they could benefit from some additional support from the meetings during 2016/2017 so that a beneficial programme can be prepared for the future in 2016/17.
It is envisaged that by enhancing the knowledge of Centre members that they will be more prepared to avoid expensive and business damaging mistakes and also to provide the business with skills advertising by way of certificates and Q Stars. This early discussion will then provide the officers of the Centre several months to produce presentations and arrange for speakers ahead of an itinerary to be published in early August of this year for the next season of meetings beginning in September 2016.
Your input is vital to the success of the Midlands Centre and its membership. Therefore should you be unable to attend any of the meetings but have suggestions as to content or venues for the next season of meetings please contact the Centre Chairman or Secretary so that your ideas can be considered.
Thanking you for your continued support and looking forward to seeing you in the near future
